I guess I liked this film more than a lot of the critics. I thought Brian Cox proved he was a great actor as he went from a reasonable man to a horrible man to a near cripple as the emotions called for. I didn't realize that it was Miranda Richardson playing Churchill's wife. She was really in some of the top films during the early part of her career with "Dance with a Stranger," "Damage," and "The Crying Game," but I haven't really seen much of her after that.
