Evolution and the Science of Creation
Aug 16, 2018csrestall rated this title 2.5 out of 5 stars
I did not enjoy this book as much as I thought I did. Note: I did not have to be "convinced" I already believe that evolution is correct and accurate. This book was not an attack on religion at all. It was more of reasoning behind his debate with a creationist man. These are his arguments as to why Evolution is the correct science. He is not bashing Christians yet trying to elaborate on why the Christian viewpoint is incorrect. Now why I am only giving it a 2.5 is that it was very dry. The chapters were not able to hold my attention for long, the language was a bit dull and simplistic. I have read other science books before and found them engaging so I do not think it was the subject matter which was the problem. I also did not like how he constantly attacked his old boss in a joking manner of course, yet I found it repetitive and unnecessary. If you are interested in learning about Evolution, or understanding why creationism is not taught in schools this book is for you.
