A sequel of sorts to Heroes for My Son, this book offers a slightly different selection of heroes. Again, Meltzer knows his audience. Each hero gets a two page biographical spread. As mentioned above, there is some repetition from the previous book, but for the most part this is a new slate of heroes. Meltzer also doesn‘t fall into the trap of offering only female heroes to his daughter. Again, this is a wonderful starting off point for parents and teachers in a discussion of what makes a hero.
