While The Flash is still the best live action superhero show on TV, season 2 runs into a few bumps. The overall story arc is almost an exact repeat of season one. New powers, saving family, betrayal. Which is OK as far modern shows go but its easily noticeable. Also, the writers begin to get inconsistent with what they want to do with a few of the side characters. Specifically, Harry Wells and Iris West. The character reinventions (which get worst in season 3) get to be kind of annoying. Katelyn Frost and Cisco are, as usual, excellent support characters with plenty of foreshadowing for their futures (which fans of the Flash comic already know). The same goes for Wally West, though his introduction into the show was really out of the blue. Minor complaints aside, this was still the best superhero show on television when it aired.
