This, the third of four books, picks up from the previous two. Wherein vampires and their hives were a focus in the second book (Curtsies & Conspiracies), werewolves are the focus here. The books have some really interesting worldbuilding going on, with vampires, werewolves arrayed against one another, as well as against the Picklemen - technomancers who oppose the supernatural. Borrowing a train, injuries, and a werewolf metamorphosis, this was very enjoyable to read.
