I very much enjoyed this book. A lot of the other comments say it's too similar to Hunger Games - and the similarities are unmistakable. It had been several years since I've read that series, though, so it didn't bother me (the way it might have if I read one right after the other). Plus, I've been on a dystopian kick lately so it hit the spot. One major difference between Testing and Hunger Games is that the romance here is real (whereas it's feigned in Hunger Games). Another major difference is that the youths in this book are not forced to kill each other as they are in Hunger Games. Both are significant enough (particularly the second point) that I don't think it's fair to call it a "rip off".
