I really appreciate the realistic depiction of the assassination; graphic and grim, to be sure, but, measured and moving, as well. Choosing to represent Blair Brown's terrific "Jackie" with blood on her face and dead shock in her eyes, is a gutsy move by the film's producers. Equally courageous, and, historically accurate, is the staging of the subsequent scene where the First Lady is, initially, refused entry to the emergency room. Well done!
