This is a 348-minute 7-episode miniseries written by Reg Gadney and directed by Jim Goddard. The miniseries was produced by Central Independent Television and originally aired in the United States starting on 20 November 1983 around the time of the 20th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination. Vincent Gardenia plays superbly as the sinister J. Edgar Hoover who challenges the president tanaciously. John Shea also plays skillfully as Robert F. Kennedy who is frustrated with his elder brother's politically risky womanizing and his often turbulent relationship with Hoover and the Civil Rights leadership of the era. Although Martin Sheen portrays John F. Kennedy adequately well, I like Greg Kinnear better as John F. Kennedy in the Emmy-winning Canadian-American television miniseries premiered in April 2011. Blair Brown looks just like Jacqueline Kennedy. She plays quite impressively right after the assassination.
