The cartoon-like illustrations and word bubbles pack a lot of information about what makes a planet into an engaging adventure. It was a little above my 4-year-old's level, but he had me read it over and over and learned quite a bit about the definition of a planet and why Pluto is no longer considered one. Plus, he loved imagining blasting off on his own spaceship to each planet along the way.
