This is a highly enjoyable book of what could be a rather dull and bewildering topic; its lively, at moments funny (stealing a teenage girl's hair! for science, of course), and informative - so much so that it encourages one to read more into the subject.

I actually read this so-called coffee book and enjoyed every page. The author has a wonderful sense of humor and makes everyday chemistry understandable and exciting for those of us who only took high school chemistry long ago. Read it, then buy it and give it as a gift for Christmas.
