This book is full of beautiful baby blanket patterns.
I gave it 4 stars because they are not "quick". The blankets are large so they take some time.
But the patters are easy to follow and super cute!

** see http://www.sixthandspring.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=13 for a more comprehensive list of pattern corrections for this book **

This is a terrific resource based on the variety of patterns offered. I have made #20, "Ruby Red," and have #29, "Lacy Chevron," in process now. Since blankets have some flexibility in terms of gauge and size, I have been using alternatives to the suggested yarns with fine results.

I only rated this book a 3.5 because #29 has two errors in the first line of the pattern stitch. Row 1 (RS) should read K5, yo, *k6, k2tog, SKP, k6, yo, k2, yo; rep from * to last 21 sts, k6, k2tog, SKP, k6, yo, k5.

(Note: my correction of this pattern varies from the "official" one posted on the website cited above. If you switch the order of the k2tog and SKP, the horizontal line between the yarn overs is much less pronounced.)

Also, the instructions for #20 were so abbreviated in terms of carrying out the moss stitch border that I had to write the entire thing out on paper to keep track.
