Transported me back to my own childhood experiences during the 60's in the Bronx. Enjoyed.

What a disappointment. One of the worse books by K. Reichs. Great story idea and location, but the story felt like she wrote it in a hurry!

patron review

Fun story as expected from inspiration of "Bones" TV program.

I have read 13 of 15 adult rated novels by Kathy Reichs so far and Bones Are Forever - Book 15 was not one of her best. It was only an average to good read in my opinion. I do agree with reviewer ‘milesthecat,’ her books "are always a little educational;" this time including more lessons in forensic medicine, Canadian Geography and some history on diamond mining in Canada. Senior Doctor-at-Bass! D. A.

I'm finally caught up the the newest one in this series. I don't think I've ever read a series that I didn't need to take a break from. I read the whole series almost without a single other book in between. It almost read like one long book. This one got panned a bit in the review but I liked it. Andrew Ryan is back and he and Tempe take a trip to the northern territories tracking a woman who killed several newborns and then disappeared. A couple of funny scenes, an old flame and a startling revelation from Katy.

As usual - another AMAZING book from Kathy Reichs!! I cannot read any other authors anymore because their books are so boring in comparison to Reichs. Her fast paced yet detail oriented books are all must reads!

Enjoy Reichs books - fun read and always a little educational. Liked the settings on this one. Good, easy entertainment.

Entertaining read. The plot is not her strongest but she got me interested in reading more about the diamond mining history in the NWT.

I dont understand why someone reads a book and then complains about the author. Dont read their books!!! Simple as that. I find her books entertaining, if I didnt I wouldnt read them.

While not my favorite of Reichs' books (it seemed like it would make a better Bones script than novel), it did hold my interest and I read it in less than a weekend. Not a fantastic mystery, but interesting and intelligent (a highly underrated quality in pulp mysteries these days). It seems as though Reichs is going the way of Cornwall and her ilk towards pulp, formulaic writing. I hope not because I really like how smartly written her mysteries are.
