Add a Comment"Marvelous!" film. Non-stop interest with story arcs through out the film. Saving Private Ryan that didn't quite make it. Ironic endings where 'good and evil' are not clear cut in a life just isn't fair period of time.
This DVD movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. Very predictable but still entertaining. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.
This movie is the first good Jackie Chan movie in awhile.
Jackie Chan's best to date. Delivers on many levels. Evin as a farmer's anti-war quest !!
disappointment
Slapsticky and silly in parts, incoherent in parts, moving in parts. Not a bad time overall.
produced, written, sang, acted, and who knows what else, by Jackie Chan. It is worth watching though its ending left me "wanting" and pointless in mho.
Not one of Jackie's better movies.
Not a typical Jackie Chan movie. Here, he plays a simple, but cowardly lowly soldier. Movie overall is alright. Actions were so-so (again, not typical Jackie Chan movie). Script was weak. And the ending was inconsistent.
The action is good but not outstanding. The best part of the movie is the message it tries to deliver....."War is disastrous to anyone, in particular the people". As for the ending, it was tragic, but then it's appropriate.
