Loved the updated arrangements, but agree with commenter below, the back up vocals didn't work at all for me. The woman singing had a great voice, just dissonant with Peter Gabriel's style, she made it sound too "pop-ish".

very cool concept album. can hardly wait for the other side of this "you scratch my back" project.

Not sure about the reviewer saying there are 3 Discs, because the one I borrowed just had one. I was not expecting much with Gabriel and an orchestra, but I liked the renditions a lot. I could stay awake to this and that was not what I expected. Peter's voice is still strong but the weakest part of this is the backup vocalists who don't 'blend" very well and kind of stick out too much.

Fantastic album, 2 CDs one normal and one instrumental.
I believe these are all songs from his previous albums 'remixed' and re-recorded with orchestra.
"In Your Eyes" is great.
"Intruder" is just creepy.
"Digging in the Dirt" is alright.
I liked "Red Rain" and "Solsbury Hill" is quite catchy.
Definitely worth listening through once but some songs have very high reply value.
There was a live version of this album too.

Excellent renditions of Peter Gabriel's astounding catalogue. I was fortunate to have witnessed it live in concert and this collection is great to revisit a wonderful night.
