This is a great book for kids! There are only a sentence or two per page, in rhyme and each page introduces different sea shells that the little girl and her brother and friend find along the seashore. A detailed picture of the shell and the ones already collected is shown on each page as she names and counts her shells. At the end there is more information about the seashore and its inhabitants and the 12 different shells collected in the story.
