A reinterpretation of the British 1960s cult hit series. A man, known as Six, finds himself inexplicably trapped in the Village with no memory of how he arrived. As he explores his environment, he discovers that his fellow inhabitants are identified by number instead of name, have no memory of any prior existence, and are under constant surveillance. Six is driven by the need to discover the truth behind The Village, the reason for his being there, and most importantly, how he can escape.

Original series is a classic ~420

What a weird movie... Not even Ian McKellen was able to save it for my taste. Too much of an endless nightmarish sequence (or lack of!) of events. It seems this series ran in the 60's and was a flop. I wonder why remake a looser series again...

A great story line, but I couldn't figure out what happens at the end. Has brief language and some adult content.

Excellent performances and premise. Unfortunately, the pace of story-telling was painfully sluggish. Each episode would have been vastly improved by cutting at least 15 minutes. The overall plot felt unfocused until the last two episodes. Appreciated the numerous shout-outs to the original series, but they also reminded me of how much more entertaining and engrossing the 1960s version was.

Great work of art. If you like Adult Swim, WWE and Girls, this mini series will go over your head. TV's #1 butt kicker, Caviezel, best actress, Wilson and sexiest actress, Atwell join Ian McKellento bring this story of humanity to life. Don't worry about the original or you may never watch or read anything new the rest of your life.

Absolute rubbish and a waste of time to watch. I made it through almost one episode before I decided that I had better things to do with my time. A failed attempt at re-creating the original which, at the time, was very popular.

this movie ruins the old tv series. I would recommend watching the old tv series first.

I like the original series, but found this one boring. I only made it to episode 3 before I lost interest.

Since quitting a spy agency Summakor enters another world and is known only as number 6. It appears to be a perfect paradise, where no dissent is allowed. He wants to escape.

A six-hour film shot in 92 days.

Didn't view it because of lack of time.
