GREAT two 1930's period piece (different types) films featuring Claudette Colbert.

'Three Cornered Moon' is a 1933 pre-Code film - a Depression era family comedy where formerly wealthy Claudette and her brothers have to deal with their lack of money.

'Maid of Salem' from 1937 is an interesting historical piece of the 1692 Salem witch trials - not a comedy, but a very well done drama. It was interesting to see Fred MacMurray looking so handsome at an early age as Claudette's love interest. Sterling Holloway is entertaining in his side role as a cow herder.
