This is a really neat book. It was interesting for both me and my daughter. We liked the snippets of colonial life, and it was a gentle way to introduce the Boston Tea Party situation, with out being too heavy. This can definitely be read to younger aged children if they are book lovers, or already read well. (My daughter is almost 6, and loves books.)
