Typical Higgins/Higgins-Clark murder mystery. No suspense that ends with a soft fluffy feeling.

Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark made an awesome Mother//Daughter writing duo! Each is an accomplished author on her own (try Carol's Regan Reilly mystery series) and they have written other Christmas mystery books as well.
