In spite of what Christilini says here, all the exercises can be done without any equipment and one of the instructors does demonstrate how that is done. The description on the DVD case suggests a 9-12 inch ball can be used as a fitness tool. A toy ball would be fine. A medicine ball would certainly not be appropriate in these exercises for someone with fibromyalgia. I had fun!

The problem I had with this item is that it requires the participant to use fitness or medicine balls, neither of which are in my possession. I have had better success with other dvd's, such as Bedtop Yoga and the Mayo Clinic Fibromyalgia dvd.
