Book News
The title is ironic (though it's lifted from Myerson herself). The biography focuses on the queen dethroned the insecurities, the failed marriages, the arrests for petty shoplifting, the loss of a US Senate race, the love affair that resulted in a courtroom trial. All very thoroughly researched and well written, but it begs the broader question the relationship (or lack thereof) of beauty and brains to moral virtue and personal happiness.
