This book tackles a topic not generally known, and I learned a lot about different people who should have a louder voice in our society. Protagonist Mia sketches her life with colors and shapes, a truly unique and eye opener.

Being a reader who usually doesn’t overly question the science and facts behind the plot of a fiction book, I felt the need to during this read as I began to feel a mixed sense of puzzlement and interest when Mia was diagnosed with…

This book was not very interesting. The main conflict in this book did not grab my attention. It was very anti-climatic and dramatic.

The main character of this novel is unique because of her synesthesia, a condition that causes her to experience senses differently. I would recommend this to anyone who has ever felt like an outsider.

Really a sweet read. Loveable characters, soulful quirks and some very heartfelt bits. Oh, that tornado of feelings being a 13 year old girl! I remember it well!

It was fascinating to learn about synesthesia while reading this book! I enjoyed the characters and the story immensely. It would be a good book for children who are struggling with grief.

I do have synesthesia, however I wish I had this type of it. I can taste colors which is not as cool as hearing colors. This book is a good account of this gift of the senses.
